
MEXICAN FEDERATION OF ATHLETICS ASSOCIATIONS
The Mexican Federation of Athletics Associations (FMAA) aims to promote, coordinate, control and officially govern the development of Athletics in the Mexican Republic. Founded in 1925, its aim is to unify and organise the athletes of the Associations that practice the sport of Athletics in its different modalities.
Its mission is to create links between the public and private sectors, to develop strategies for the promotion of athletics. To generate development policies at all social levels for the practice of athletics contributing to generate a healthier, more productive society and with the aim of integrating more competitive national teams.
Their vision is to consolidate the Federation as the highest technical instance of athletics in Mexico, generating greater presence at international level, establishing the necessary alliances to be an integral part of Mexican society, impacting on the social and economic development of the country and as a consequence to have permanence in the world ranking system of competition.
