The 2023 tennis season gets underway with an increasingly strong #JomaTeam

Everything is ready for the start of the 2023 tennis season, where over 25 #JomaPlayers will be put through their paces at the ATP and WTA tennis tours, starting with the Australian Open.

The most important dates in the tennis calendar return with the start of the 2023 season. Joma’s more than 25 tennis players who are among the top 100 will play at the different WTA and ATP tours of the year. The Australian Open kicks it all off, which will be played between Monday 16th and Sunday 29th January on the fast court at Melbourne Park (Australia).

Some #JomaPlayers are already through the preliminary phase in the men’s and women’s categories. Those at the top of the ATP ranking will head directly to the quarter finals. Therefore, prominent tennis players from various countries will give it their all to take the first Grand Slam of the season.

Among the Spanish players, Joma sponsors Olympic medallist and key image in this sporting discipline, Pablo Carreño, in addition to Albert Ramos, Pedro Martínez Portero and Marcell Granoller in the doubles. The international #JomaPlayers present in the finals of the Australian Open will be Thiago Monteiro (nº 1 in Brazil), Daniel Galán, Joao Sousa (nº 1 in Portugal), Facundo Bagnis, and Iván Dodig (top 10 Croatia) and Filip Polasek in the doubles. Additionally, Australian doubles runner-up and No. 1 in Brazilian women’s tennis Beatriz Haddad will play once again in the first major tennis event of the year. As will Marie Bouzkova and Tamara Zidansek.

Joma’s presence is completed by the national federations of Spain, Italy and Serbia.

Joma in tennis

As a result, Joma’s unrivalled growth in the world of tennis is reflected, with its players at the top of the rankings in the most important national and international tournaments. Kitting them all out, and the number is growing all the time, wouldn’t be possible without the brand’s huge investment in this sport. As a competitor in the world’s top 10 sports apparel and footwear market, Joma has not stopped at achieving the best quality on the market. In fact, all its sponsors play with the Ace and Point models, which are designed for professional use and feature the latest brand technology.

For its part, Joma will accompany every #JomaPlayer, both in preparing for the tournaments and in the competitions themselves. It will do this starting in Australia and will continue with the Masters 1000 in February and March. The commitment continues, just as it has in previous seasons.
