Everything is ready for the start of the 2023 tennis season, where over 25 #JomaPlayers will be put through their paces at the ATP and WTA tennis tours, starting with the Australian Open.
The most important dates in the tennis calendar return with the start of the 2023 season. The Australian Open kicks it all off, which will be played between Monday 16th and Sunday 29th January on the fast court at Melbourne Park (Australia).
Some #JomaPlayers are already through the preliminary phase in the men’s and women’s categories. Those at the top of the ATP ranking will head directly to the quarter finals. Therefore, prominent tennis players from various countries will give it their all to take the first Grand Slam of the season.
Among the Spanish players, Joma sponsors Olympic medallist and key image in this sporting discipline, Pablo Carreño, in addition to Albert Ramos, Pedro Martínez Portero and Marcell Granoller in the doubles. The international #JomaPlayers present in the finals of the Australian Open will be Thiago Monteiro (nº 1 in Brazil), Daniel Galán, Joao Sousa (nº 1 in Portugal), Facundo Bagnis, and Iván Dodig (top 10 Croatia) and Filip Polasek in the doubles. Additionally, Australian doubles runner-up and No. 1 in Brazilian women’s tennis Beatriz Haddad will play once again in the first major tennis event of the year. As will Marie Bouzkova and Tamara Zidansek.
