The new shoe suspension system (CPC Control Press Chamber) is developed. Joma creates a new line of football boots using this technology. On other hand, Joma signs his first two sponsorship contract with Martín Vázquez (Real Madrid football player) and Francisco (Sevilla F. C. football player). In addition, a new third factory is inaugurated, which is currently Joma’s head office. With this new space, Joma counts with 65,000 sqm., three automatic lines and more than 300 employees

Three new subsidiaries companies were created (Joma UK, Joma Latinoamerica in Panama and Joma Brazil) finishing the map of Joma’s subsidiaries around the world. The athlete Juan Carlos de la Ossa wins the first Word Cross Tournament. Seville F.C. is named the best team in the world by the IFFHS after winning two UEFA cups, a Spanish super cup, a European super cup and a Copa del Rey (King’s Cup). Kanouté signs a sponsorship deal with Joma. Joma enters the Leading Brands of Spain Forum. Facilities are changed due to the logistic development of the company. Its storage capacity is increased and the service’s efficacy is improved in terms of quality.

Joma Sport and the Spanish Olympic Committee join forces and Joma becomes the sponsor of the main Sport entity in Spain. Furthermore, Joma sponsors the Olympic Committees of Portugal, Mexico, Bulgaria, Moldova, Andorra and Malta in Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games.

The Olympics have been the most important sporting event of 2016. Joma did not miss the appointment and became one of the sports brands with more presence in Rio de Janeiro. The Spanish brand sponsored 9 Olympic Committees, such as Spain, Mexico or Portugal, and 18 federations or sports disciplines, such as the selection of handball in Croatia, rugby teams in Spain, the national soccer team of Honduras or federations of athletics as Important as the Spanish, Moroccan or Mexican. The Kings of Spain visit the headquarters of the company JOMA SPORT Their Majesties the Kings visited in January 2018 the facilities that the Spanish company JOMA SPORT owns in Portillo de Toledo.
