The athlete specialised in race walking Miguel Ángel López will compete with the Joma R.4000 running shoe.
The sports brand Joma and Miguel Ángel López make official their sponsorship agreement by which the current European champion in race walking 35 k will start to form part of the #JomaTeam athletics team. In addition, from now on he will compete with one of the most iconic high-end running shoes from Joma’s running line: the R.4000.
Throughout his career, Miguel Ángel López has won several international titles which have helped him to be elected Best Spanish Athlete of the years 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. He is world champion in 20 k walk and double European champion in the same category and in 35 k walk (the latter achieved on 16 August 2022 in Munich). He has also participated in three Olympic Games in the 20 km race walk, where he obtained his best place in London 2012. Her last record was broken last 2022 with the best Spanish time in 35 k walk at the age of 36, a revolution for this sporting discipline.
This way, he will become one of the most important figures of the athletics #JomaTeam. Because of that, the sports brand is positioning itself even more in this field.

On the other hand, thanks to this new sponsor, the great Spanish athletics reference will wear from now on the R.4000 model, with which he will make his debut in his next competitions. It is made for high competition and designed to achieve the most unattainable records.
Among its technical features, the upper has been completely renewed, with a new, more dynamic design made of lightweight and breathable textile. The small VTS perforations will keep the temperature of the foot constant. The JOMA SPORTECH system of injected rubber avoids seams, thus creating a structure with greater flexion capacity and a better fit to the foot.
