The Point shoe for the Master Final features an exclusive design in orange and blue, characteristic of the WPT circuit.
Joma, as an official footwear brand of the World Padel Tour, is releasing a new exclusive edition of its Point shoe. This personalised model has been specially made for the last test of the circuit: the Master Final, which will be held at Palau Sant Jordi between December 15th and 18th, 2022.
Joma’s influence in padel footwear has meant that the World Padel Tour has placed its trust in the brand for it to also be the official footwear of this final part. Joma has provided official footwear for many years, where it exhibits the quality and wealth in technology of its product on the most prestigious padel circuit in the world.
A design with the WPT colours
It is an elegant design based on the combination of blue and orange, colours that are characteristic of the circuit and prominent in the aesthetics of the tournament. They stand out on the black base. The orange runs across the whole upper, drawing some fine details on top of the black, giving an elegant contrast with a spectacular visual effect. The colour blue has been used on the midsole, in addition to in fine details that accompany the Joma logo and the heel counter.
Furthermore, the WPT logo appears personalised at different points, printed on the phylon of the midsole, among other parts.
A shoe with a wealth of technology
The limited edition of the Point Master Final model retains all of the technical characteristics and application of latest technologies in padel footwear. It is an excellent shoe specifically for this sport which is characterised for its shock absorption, stability and high resistance to wear and tear.
Its excellent cushioning comes from the use of FULL DUAL PULSOR technology in the midsole. It is a double density system consisting of two parts: one expands easily, which provides an enormous capacity to absorb the impact of each step and, at the same time, it recovers its shape quickly, boosting the exit. Additionally, it has another phylon base with a greater density which provides stability.
The stability is reinforced with the use of the STABILIS system, an injection piece which stabilises the transition of the footstep. It also introduces the EXO COUNTER outer heel counter which is rigid on the heel to support the foot and protect the area.
On the other hand, the upper is extremely breathable thanks to being made with small VTS perforations, which facilitate the air flow. This quality is highly valued in sports played on highly abrasive courts. In order to protect this area, the FLEXSHIELD system is applied, an injected rubber that supports the foot comfortably. Equally, on the inside of the foot, where there is more wear-and-tear due to side movements during the game, there are pieces of PROTECTION rubber.
The sole is made from DURABILITY high density rubber which is resistant to wear and tear on the courts. Its deep spike tread pattern ensures grip on the game surface. The FLEXO lines achieve a more natural footstep.
