PUERTO RICO OLYMPIC COMMITTEE

The Puerto Rico Olympic Committee (COPUR) is the organisation responsible for representing Puerto Rico in the Olympic Games and other international sporting events. Although Puerto Rico is an unincorporated territory of the United States, it competes as a separate entity in the Olympic Games. COPUR was founded in 1948 and recognised by the International Olympic Committee in 1948. Its first participation in the Olympic Games was at the London 1948 Olympic Games.

Joma is a sponsor of the Puerto Rican Olympic Committee, providing the official apparel and footwear for Puerto Rican athletes. This collaboration includes the provision of sportswear for competitions, opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympic Games and other international sporting events.
