Joma, the leading national brand in sports textiles and footwear, has become the technical sponsor of the next Movistar Half Marathon to be held in Madrid with more than 20,000 runners taking part.
The Toledan company, sponsor of the most outstanding Spanish sporting institutions, such as, for example, the Olympic Committee or the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation, thus becomes the sports brand sponsoring the most iconic half marathon in Spain.
The Madrid Movistar Half Marathon will be held on 8 April and will feature a spectacular route through Spain’s capital, starting in the Paseo del Prado, traversing the capital’s main through fares such as la Castellana, Cibeles, Puerta de Alcalá, ending in Parque del Retiro.
Joma will not only dress the half marathon runners, about 20,000 people, but also the runners taking part in the Carrera Profuturo 5K, which will be held at the same time, the two races will bring together more than 25,000 runners, volunteers, and the organisation’s entire technical staff.
The Madrid Movistar Half Marathon is an event included in the calendars of both the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) and the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation (RSAF).
