JESSICA RIVERO MARIN
Jessica de las Mercedes Rivero Marín, born in Camagüey (Cuba) in 1995 and naturalized Spanish, is the embodiment of the modern outside hitter. Daughter of an athlete (her mother was a Cuban fencer), Jessica is one of the most experienced and charismatic players on the international stage. She currently plays for Cuneo Granda in Serie A1.
Jessica’s career is a journey through the world’s top volleyball leagues. After dominating in Spain at a young age with Haro, winning the national “treble” (League, Cup, and Supercup), she began a path that took her across different cultures and playing styles.
In Europe she competed in the top leagues of Germany (Potsdam), Turkey (Manisa), and Poland (Legionovia).
In Italy she became a veteran of the Italian league, wearing the jerseys of LJ Volley Modena, Millenium Brescia, and Trentino Rosa. One of her most recent achievements came with Roma Club, where she helped secure promotion to A1 and win the Serie A2 Italian Cup in 2023.
In the USA in 2025, she participated in the launch of the new professional American league (LOVB) with Atlanta, before returning to Italy for the 2025-26 season at Cuneo.
Jessica has been a cornerstone of the Spanish National Team since 2010.
