
OLYMPIC COMMITTEE OF THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
The Dominican Olympic Committee (COD) is the organization in charge of representing the Dominican Republic in the Olympic Games and other international sporting events. It is responsible for coordinating the preparation of Dominican athletes and their participation in international competitions. The Dominican Olympic Committee was founded in 1946 and recognised by the International Olympic Committee in 1962. The Dominican Republic debuted for the first time at the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games.
Currently, Joma is the official sponsor and supplier of sportswear for the athletes of the Dominican Olympic Committee. This sponsorship includes the provision of competition uniforms, training clothes and other sporting goods for Dominican athletes participating in international events, including the Olympic Games.
