ATLETICA FIRENZE MARATHON
Atletica Firenze Marathon, founded in 1968, is one of the top ten athletics clubs in Italy. Both its men’s and women’s teams regularly compete in the Finale Oro, where the 12 best teams in the country vie for the national championship.
For over 50 years, its sports school has promoted athletics among young people (more than 1,200 each year). Thanks to the management of one of the most prestigious facilities entirely dedicated to athletics, the Luigi Ridolfi Stadium in Florence, the club develops high-level athletes annually, helping them reach the top of national rankings and represent Italy in major international competitions.
At the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, two club athletes achieved the qualification standards.
