Joma and TSG Hoffenheim are launching the away kit for the 2023/2024 season.
Fan’s wishes have come true and TSG Hoffenheim will once again wear the classic white away shirt. This colour has always been their hallmark in the away uniform, and now it’s back. As a result, the away shirt reflects its essence, combining it with revamped aspects and an elegant style captured on recycled fabric. In fact, it is connected to the home kit via the details in the same colour blue located on the cuffs and neck. Although, more than ever, TSG Hoffenheim’s new away shirt is a tribute to the region. Three wide vertical stripes have been added to the front that show an abstract pattern on top of the landscape surrounding Hoffenheim. This way, players and fans will always feel close to home.
An eco-friendly shirt for a sustainable planet
For the new uniforms, Joma has reaffirmed its commitment to looking after the environment, manufacturing the garments with 100% recycled polyester. Most of the kits made by the brand already use this fabric. It is made from recycled sources, especially PET bottles, which become the raw material. That way, CO2 emissions are reduced by 75% and there is no need to use oil.
In terms of the benefits when performing physical exercise, recycled polyester provides elasticity, strength and excellent breathability.
The best technologies on the market
Firstly, the MICRO-MESH SYSTEM technology is situated in the areas prone to sweating (underarms and sides) to help moisture to wick away quickly. Equally, VTS technology covers the whole garment. It consists of small perforations that regulate the build-up of sweat.
On the other hand, each piece of fabric has been joined using the FLATLOCK flat seams system, which prevents the appearance of skin chafing and increases comfort during the game.
We can’t forget the TSG Hoffenheim crest, which is displayed on the front thanks to JOMA SPORTECH technology. This technique, inherited from footwear, consists of heat-sealing rubber pieces. This flexible and robust material does not add weight or cause discomfort.
