Joma made a strong entrance into trail running, dazzling at Transgrancanaria with a wide presence of its product and excellent results from its athletes.
Joma runners made a clean sweep by stepping onto the podium at Transgrancanaria after running with shoes and clothing from the brand. This fact puts the focus on the quality and technology of the product elevating it to the forefront of the market for this sport.
On one hand, four athletes from the #JomaTrailTeam who participated in the different tests at Transgrancanaria ended the event with significant triumphs: Gemma Arenas, 4th position in the women’s Marathon 46 km with the TR-9000; Inés Astrain, 5th position in the same category with the TR-6000; and trail running legend Miguel Heras, 2nd position in the Classic 126 km category with the TR-7000. It is worth mentioning the new addition to the #JomaTrailteam, Kenyan Robert Pkemoi, crossing the finish line of the Marathon fully equipped with Joma for the first time. In footwear, he specifically chose the high-end TR-9000 model.
In the same race, Portuguese Tiago Vieira achieved 3rd position wearing the TR-6000, just as Ionel Monole in the Classic 126 km category. The trust that both have placed in the brand to compete in the most important event on the world calendar once again demonstrates that their commitment to trail running is strong.

The TR sneakers with which the six runners won medals at Transgrancanaria represent the high-end trail range intended solely for competition for different distances.
