The new kit of the Romanian national side incorporates the latest technical developments, as well as the quality and those characteristics prized by Joma, the first sports brand in Spain and third in the world for football kits.
This will be the kit with which Romania will face its next big challenge, the 2020 European Championship qualification games. The tricolour already played in the most recent European Championships held in France in 2016 and with this new design, the players will come face-to- face with their next rivals.
The new kit is designed in sporting polyester, to which a next generation finish has been applied, giving the garment greater breathability. In addition, in high perspiration areas, such as the sides, a Micro-Mesh system has been used, a technology favouring wicking allowing the player greater breathability. Thus, their body stays dry and their comfort is enhanced.
Joma has created a shirt characterised by its design, extolling the colours of the Romanian flag and the country’s national icons. At the front of the shirt there is a new shield designed using the flock-satin technique, a heat-sealed transfer with 3D effect providing maximum definition and photographic quality. This shield which forms part of the new kit, symbolises all the regions comprising Romania and represents the union of the country. The emblematic figure of the Romanian coat of arms, the Eagle, has been printed on the shirt using the embossing technique. The horizontal stripes and elastic ribbing at the collar also reflect the colours of the Tricolori flag.
Several details offering excellent quality and fit have been added to the new Romanian national side shirt, such as an additional seamless piece located on the shoulders to improve comfort, ribbing at the collar and cuffs for optimal fit or Micro-Mesh fabric on the sides to improve breathability. There are several details that Joma has added to the new design to offer the players and fans of the Romanian side a completely customised shirt. The word ROMANIA printed on the back and IMPREUNA SUNTEM FOTBAL on the inside of the collar.
Regarding the colours, the national colours, yellow and red, are used for the first and second shirt. While the goalkeeper shirt comes in three different colours: black, purple, and green.
The brand’s quality standards have been applied to the garments for the National Romanian team, both regarding the match shirts for the professional players as well as the replicas which will go on sale.
