EHF Executive Committee had a meeting this morning to analyze current situation under the COVID-19 pandemic and stablish the roadmap to decide the future of their competitions.
Among the decisions made by the European Federation, is the cancelation of the four pending qualifying rounds for women EHF EURO 2020, so this will be stablish based on the EHF EURO ranking. Therefore, Carlos Viver team ‘las Guerreras’ being the world’s runner-up, certify their presence in the Europe Championship 2020.
Pending European play-offs stablishing the ticket to the World Championship 2021 for the men, have also got cancelled. This will be a world event, where ‘los Hispanos’, the Spanish National men team will also be present after their gold medal in the past European Championship.
