The sports brand Joma Sport has made, its sports equipment and part of its capital equipment, available to the institutions and health authorities.
Joma has 3D printers in the central offices located in Portillo de Toledo. These printers continue to work at full capacity, but instead of producing prototypes of shoe soles, they have been adapted to the needs of healthcare centers.
Thanks to Joma technicians in 3D printing, the sports brand is managing to finish 40 mask headbands a day. These will be used as part of the Individual Protection Equipment for the health workers who care for Coronavirus patients in the country’s hospital centers.
The firm has also responded to the desperate call of the staff of residences and hospitals with more than 500 raincoats as a solution to the anguish that all these facilities live day by day due to the lack of materials that allow them to safely carry their great work.
Joma has also donated more than 1,000 sports shoes to our healthcare personnel, in order to make the large number of hours spent in hospital centers more comfortable. In this way, he wants to transmit all his support and positive energy to the true heroes of this battle.
Despite everything, this difficult situation is bringing out the best in the human being and it is a reality that we will never forget.
