#Jomateam adds 7 medals at the 2024 Indoor Athletics World Championships

The Indoor Athletics World Championships, held in Glasgow last weekend, ended with several medals for #JomaTeam athletics. The brand had a strong presence with 15 federations sporting its gear.

It was an exciting weekend for athletics fans after the XIX edition of the Indoor Athletics World Championships in Glasgow, the first major event of 2024. There, more than 650 athletes from 130 nationalities competed for the podium. Finally, three Joma equipped federations achieved it for a total of 7 medals: 2 silver and 5 bronze.

Firstly, Italy dominated the Joma medal fixture in Glasgow with FIDAL winning silver in the long jump and men’s 60 meters hurdles, setting a national record. Additionally, there were bronze medals in men’s shot put and women’s 60 meters sprint.

On the other hand, RFEA Spanish athletics added two more medals: bronze medals in women’s triple jump and long jump. Completing the Joma podium was the Athletics Federation of Slovenia with their third place in women’s high jump.

Similarly, the Joma equipped delegations closed the Indoor Athletics World Championships occupying more than 20 finalist positions.

More than 15 Joma federations were called up in Glasgow

The Indoor Athletics World Championships brought together more than 15 national federations with Joma gear: Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, Morocco, Mexico, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Ireland, Romania, Tunisia, Albania, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Macedonia, and Andorra. This level demonstrates the trust that high-level athletics places in the brand, enjoying its excellent quality and the best technical features that their running products offer.
