Joma and Atalanta BC are launching new uniforms for the 2023/2024 season.
The new Atalanta BC shirts have undergone a complete overhaul in terms of their design, although they continue to sport the traditional colours. Joma has supported the team for years as its technical sponsor, providing the best kit for all of its competitions and helping to improve the players’ performance.
The home shirt retains the iconic blue and black striped design, which has represented the Italian club since 1920 and which has now evolved into a modern geometric sublimation print on the blue parts. As a result, the patterns create a striking optical effect, adding a completely different touch to the material. Equally, it features an elegant ribbed polo neck and ribbed cuffs to achieve a more comfortable fit.
In terms of the away shirt, it is once again white with blue touches in fine horizontal lines, with other details in black. That way, the hallmarks of the club remain intact. The V-neck with a double finish adds style to this away kit. A finish in the base material has been added to the ribbed fabric, where the caption “1907” has been embossed, a reminder of the year the club was founded.
An eco-friendly t-shirt for a sustainable planet
For the new kit, Joma has reaffirmed its commitment to caring for the environment by using 100% recycled polyester elastics. Most Joma kits already use this fabric. It is made from recycled sources, especially PET bottles, which become the raw material. This reduces CO2 emissions by 75% of CO2 and avoids the use of oil.
As for the benefits when exercising, recycled polyester provides elasticity, resistance and good breathability.
The best technologies on the market
First of all, MICRO-MESH SYSTEM technology is located in the areas most prone to sweating (the armpits and sides) to help moisture evaporate quickly. In this way the player’s body will remain dry and comfortable, preventing post-exercise cooling.
Furthermore, each piece of fabric has been joined using the FLATLOCK seam system, which prevents chafing on the skin and enhances comfort during play.
And let’s not forget the Atalanta BC crest, which appears on the front thanks to JOMA SPORTECH technology. This technique inherited from footwear design consists in heat sealing these rubber parts. This flexible and resistant material does not add weight and does not cause discomfort.
