Joma and Hibernian FC launch their second kit for the 2023/2024 season.
The Hibernian FC 2023/2024 away kit captures the club’s identity. Joma has been supporting them for years as technical sponsor, providing them with the best material for all their competitions and helping to improve their players’ performance.
The development is the result of a strong collaboration process between the brand and the club. As a result, the uniforms capture the essence of the brand, combining it with an elegant style in recycled fabric. Hibernian FC’s second jersey is purple, one of the colors of the Scottish thistle, symbol of the country.
Therefore, the elastic is full of personalized patterns, such as the inscription “SINCE 1875” on the inside of the collar, an embroidered thistle, and the elegant club crest on the front.
The design features a regular pattern V-neck for adjustment and freedom of movement. A jacquard finish has been applied drawing fine patterns on the fabric and at the same time helping sweat perspiration.

For the new uniforms, Joma has reaffirmed its commitment to caring for the environment by manufacturing the jerseys with 100% recycled polyester. Most of the uniforms fitted by the brand already incorporate this fabric. It is made from recycled material, especially PET bottles, which are converted into raw material. Therefore, 75% of CO2 emissions are reduced and the use of petroleum is prevented.
In terms of benefits when exercising, recycled polyester provides elasticity, strength, and good breathability.

Firstly, MICRO-MESH SYSTEM technology is in areas of greatest perspiration (underarms) helping moisture to evaporate quickly. Therefore, VTS technology runs throughout the rest of the garment. It consists of small perforations that control sweat accumulation. On the other hand, each piece of fabric has been joined together using the FLATLOCK flat seam system, which prevents the appearance of possible rubbing on the skin improving comfort during the game.
