Joma is launching a new edition of 20K PARIS, its high-end running shoe with the evolution of the STABILIS technology.
The official STORM VIPER 20K PARIS shoe has undergone an upgrade in both design and technology. The new version has been radically changed in favor of increased stability and comfort. Its design is, more than ever, a tribute to Paris and especially to France. Each shoe has a different color-pattern, which together and from the runner’s perspective form the flag of the Republic of France. The blue and red colors on the outside of the shoe fade to white creating a unique composition, so one shoe can’t be understood without the other. The second focus is the name of the city, which appears in both sides.
Their midsole is completely new and has been designed to maintain the same reactivity while increasing stability through three important modifications: the incorporation of the STABILIS SYSTEM in the heel, a larger base for impact entry and a wider outsole. This firmness will improve the athlete’s performance as the foot will no longer have to be secure before impact, increasing the protection of the joints in order to avoid injuries.
Stability is reinforced with a much wider midsole and a straight heel shape increasing the base of the foot-step.
Another change that the runner will feel just by taking the first steps is the comfort resulting from an upper also renewed with more flexibility and more VTS breathability. Besides, the fastening of the tongue with two elastic bands keeps it in place during the race; and the reduction of rubber in the sole has been limited to the areas where there is a real contact with the ground, lightening the weight of this part, and maintaining the application of DURABILITY technology of low abrasion extending the life of the shoe.
Storm Viper is a shoe aimed at runners with a pace above four seconds, in training sessions of 4 to 6 days and competitions of medium and long distance. It has a DROP 8, another new feature compared to its predecessor, which had a higher drop.
