Joma has been appointed the official technical sponsor of the city of Ravenna Marathon, one of the most important running events in Italy.
Taking place on November 12, 2017 the event will include a half marathon as well as a 10,000km race with more than 15,000 runners expected to participate.
Joma’s three year sponsorship agreement will increase the company’s visibility in Italy and across the rest of Europe as well as help to establish Joma as one of the world’s most respected running brands.
A specially designed t-shirt will be manufactured for the Ravenna Marathon and presented to each of the runners who attend. Stefano Righini, director of the Ravenna Marathon was happy with the appointment of Joma, “We are very proud to have a sponsor like Joma Sport, a world leader in sportswear and footwear.”
Joma aims to continue building on it’s growing reputation as one of the leading sports brand in Italy, adding to the great relationships it currently has with top professional soccer clubs; Union Calcio Sampdoria, Union Sportiva Città di Palermo and Empoli FC.
In other sports, Joma is also an official supplier to athletics clubs Atletica Studantesca CA.RI.RI, the champions of the Italian Futsal Cup, Pescara Calcio A5, and top teams from the Italian basketball and volleyball leagues.
