At the Ecuador Open in Quito, unseeded doubles tennis player Pablo Carreño and partner Guillermo Duran earned their first career doubles title. Spaniard, Carreño and Argentine, Duran overcame Brazilian duo Thomaz Bellucci and Marcelo Demoliner 7-5, 6-4 in the title match.

The title success in Quito sees Joma player Carreño move up an impressive 30 places to 82nd in the ATP doubles world ranking and he also occupies number 64 in the ATP World Tour singles listings.
