Mutua Madrid Open kicks off with more than 20 #JomaPlayers

Joma’s broad representation at the Mutua Madrid Open once again strengthens the brand’s positioning in this sport.

The Mutua Madrid Open 2023 kicks off with a large representation of #JomaPlayers competing in the tournament. The Madrid event is one of the most prestigious and longest-running of the tennis calendar. The renovations made in recent years and the expansion of participating players have brought the Mutua Madrid Open to this level.

In the qualifiers, Joma will have 11 players: Daniel Rincón, Pedro Martínez, Joao Sousa, Leyre Romero Gormaz, Sara Sorribes, Aliona Bolsova, Marco Cecchinato, Timofey Skatov, Raul Brancaccio, Jessica Bouzas and Rosa Vicens. These first rounds will be played between Monday and Tuesday, April 24 and 25, in which the 11 #JomaPlayers will give their best to get a place in the main round.

To them, we must add the presence of great #JomaPlayers who will be directly in the main draw. Pablo Carreño, Olympic medalist and main image of the tennis brand, as well as Albert Ramos, Thiago Monteiro (No. 1 in Brazil) and Dani Galán will compete in the men’s draw. The runner-up in Australia in doubles and No. 1 in Brazilian women’s tennis Beatriz Haddad, Marie Bouzková, Rebeka Masarova and Magda Linette will compete in the women’s draw. Likewise, Spaniard Marcel Granollers and Croatian top 10 player Ivan Dodig will compete in doubles.

As a result, the unstoppable positioning of Joma in tennis is reflected, whose players are currently occuping the top ranks of the most important and emerging international tournaments. In total, more than 25 Joma tennis players in the top 100 are competing in the various WTA and ATP circuits of the year. Outfitting all of them, with more and more joining in on the ranks, would not be possible without the brand’s big investment in this sport.
