The R.2000 is the result of Joma’s footwear design team’s hard work, which has succeeded in developing the most versatile shoes in the brand’s history. Within the brand’s family of flying shoes the new R.2000 has landed in the running shoe market offering comfort, lightness and versatility to those that run at fast paces.
These shoes are designed to be put to an infinite variety of uses: their hard-to-match comfort makes them ideal for long training runs; and thanks to their lightness and the sole’s reactivity they’re great for post-competition recovery; they’re even suitable for preparing for competitions.
Due to its construction, the R.2000 is suitable for those who land on the front of their feet, even for more technical runners who land on their toes. This means the runner is almost obliged to run at a fast pace and the shoe is designed principally for these kinds of runners.
R.2000: the perfect combination of lightness and reactivity
The R.2000 shoes feature the brand’s cutting-edge technology. The shape of the shoe (10 mm Drop) equipped with the FLY REACTIVE midsole system makes the runner fly off almost obliging you to go faster. This technology is composed of a super lightweight material that recovers its shape quickly, optimising reactivity and providing excellent energy return. The front of the shoe has higher density phylon for shock absorption and both parts of the midsole make up the FULL DUAL PULSOR system.
Breathable and lightweight upper
Placing the spotlight on other technical characteristics; the R.2000’s upper is made of very light, flexible and highly breathable technical mesh. The VTS perforations allow airflow in and out so that the foot temperature remains constant even at a very fast pace.
In addition, it has several adjustment systems, such as the synthetic material inserted in the lacing area, eliminating the seams. JOMA SPORTECH technology has been used for this to reduce extra weight. Also, between the lining and the main material, we have included a structure of fastening straps, while maintaining the shoes’ flexibility.
