Joma presents the novelties of its 2025 collection at a Press Day event

On Wednesday, January 16th, Joma has unveiled the new features of its 2025 collection at a major press event held at its facilities in Portillo de Toledo, attended by prominent sponsors who are currently the face of the brand.

In total, more than 50 media outlets including specialized and generalist press have attended Joma’s Press Day. During the visit, they have toured all the facilities to get to know them thoroughly firsthand, as well as an explanation of the values and the strategy that have led this company with almost 60 years of history to the top.

During the day, the presentation of the 2025 collection was also carried out in a powerful fashion show led by Olympic athlete and Joma ambassador Ruth Beitia. Elite athletes such as José Antonio Diestro, Juanlu Esbrí, Vero Virseda, Raquel González, Carla Arce, Pedro Vega, Agustín Luján, Andrés Jiménez, Miguel Heras, Gemma Arenas, Raúl Campos, Peque, and Lucao have showcased the new textile and footwear models, allowing the press to see the quality and technology of the products live.

And to conclude the event, Fructuoso López, president and founder of Joma, wanted to address a few words to serve as an example to all those seeking success. He has stated that, throughout his career, he always focused on being better and adding more value to people. “My goal was to succeed and create a brand that would endure over time,” he concluded.

Running: R-City and R-Night

Firstly, Joma’s running line incorporates cutting-edge technology to help sports enthusiasts enhance their performance with each stride. The two innovative proposals for 2025 are R-City and R-Night.

R-City is perfect for running in the city. Designed with vibrant colors and an urban theme, it incorporates technologies such as the MICRO-MESH SYSTEM to wick away sweat, and ultra-light and stretchy fabrics that enhance the runner’s comfort.
R-Night is designed for those who prefer to run at night. Equipped with dark colors, it also features technical, lightweight, and breathable fabrics, as well as strategically placed reflective details to improve the runner’s visibility in low-light conditions.

Trail: R-Nature

In this sport that is gaining more and more strength, Joma has improved its Brama technology to adapt it to the demands of nature. It has been applied to the trail running line and includes a t-shirt, leggings, and a hooded sweatshirt, which functions as a mid-layer. It is an advanced solution designed to maintain body warmth in cold conditions. At the same time, its ability to breathe allows sweat to evaporate quickly and prevents cooling. This fabric is extremely lightweight and incorporates compression panels at strategic points, which not only improves fit but also provides muscle support that helps improve blood circulation and reduce muscle fatigue.

Other standout garments include the high-end raincoat with the ability to withstand up to 10,000 water columns, that is, maximum protection against rain. In addition to being waterproof, its fabric is highly breathable, lightweight, and self-storable, making it easy to carry on any outing without taking up much space in the backpack or belt.

Outdoor: Explorer

For the most adventurous, Joma has the Explorer line, which evokes the colors of nature. Designed to face the challenges of the mountain, it provides maximum performance and comfort thanks to its state-of-the-art technical materials. Its main objective is to enhance protection against extreme environmental conditions. That is why a layered structure has been established so that the athlete can add or remove them according to the weather.

  • In the first layer are the previously mentioned Brama shirts and leggings.
  • Fleece linings are the protagonists of the second layer. Comfortable to wear and super soft, they retain heat despite humidity.
  • The third layer is responsible for protecting against inclement weather, which is why jackets, coats, and windbreakers are included.

Regarding racket sports, Joma has designed the Challenge and Smash lines for tennis and paddle. The upper parts are ultra breathable, as they are made with very light fabrics and with technologies such as MICRO-MESH SYSTEM to evacuate sweat. The technical shorts offer comfort and freedom of movement.

It is worth mentioning the Capsule Line, created by the textile, footwear, and accessories design teams together. A complete outfit that adds style on the court to provide players with the best experience on the court.

Gym and Yoga

Going to the gym is a style statement. Now the trend is to go coordinated, comfortable, and, above all, with clothing designed specifically for training and moving freely. That’s why Joma has a specific line: Core.

Women’s garments range from tops with different levels of support depending on the activity being practiced, to ultra-comfortable leggings with a laser-cut waist and ergonomic fit. They allow you to give your all during the most demanding workouts, ensuring freedom of movement without sacrificing stability. The men’s version consists of t-shirts, shorts, and leggings equipped with breathable and compression panels that improve performance and reduce fatigue.

Teamwear

Finally, the Teamwear collection focuses on the most dynamic and fast-paced sports. Joma has been a leader in sports equipment for over 15 years, which is why more and more teams trust the brand for their attire. Their innovative designs and high-quality materials provide everything needed to give their best in matches, combining comfort, flexibility, and durability.

It is worth noting that more and more Teamwear garments are joining Joma’s sustainable fashion. For example, the ECO line takes up a significant place in this catalog. It is made with recycled polyester, an ecological fabric that helps reduce CO2 emissions by 75% in the atmosphere and is already worn by 95% of the sponsored clubs’ kits.
