The Romanian Football Federation and the fans of the Romanian team worked together and created a special kit dedicated to the Olympic Games. We challenged our fans to create a design for the kit and we received almost 100 submission. The judging committee, consisting of Horia Brenciu (artist), Vlad Munteanu (operational manager national teams RFF), Alfonso Flores (sponsorships manager Joma) and representatives of the communication and marketing departments of RFF, chose the vision of Cătălin Marian. Together with our technical partner, Joma, we developed the final design for our shirt, shorts and socks, and now our heroes’ „armour” is ready to come back to our fans.
Under the protection of the national team’s coat of arms and with the Olympic flame lit to guide our course, the shirt is ready!
With a new colour scheme, it is waiting to be worn through another beautiful story, from the Italian nights to the Japanese mornings that will go down in history.
The new kit is designed in Jacquard polyester, which is characterized by its resistance and durability. The fabric provides excellent transpiration to the clothes. The elastic stands out for its design in white as a base, with details in gold on the neck and sleeves and incorporates the Romanian flag in the middle of the neck.
The design includes the torch that represents the Olympic Games in sublimation with the colours grey and gold. It has Rib fabric on the sleeves and neck and the J logo is created with “Sil 3Desing” technology, avoiding seams and providing a soft touch to the skin.
In the garments of the Romanian National Team, Joma has applied the quality standards of the brand.
