The first round of Davis Cup 2012 has been played this weekend. This year, the Spanish´s Team defends the Champion Title, that it won in the 2011 edition. Juan Carlos Ferrero and Marcel Granollers, sponsored by Joma, have formed part of the Team and it is sure that they will continue in following rounds. Ferrero was the first player to play against Kazajistan. The match was very hard ?the players won five sets-, but he gave the first point to Spain. Ferrero is the oldest player on the Spanish Team and he celebrated his 32nd birthday this weekend. Granollers played two matches. First, the double match. It was the third and definite point for Spain and later a single match that closed the Round.
