Croatia face European Champions in Men’s World Handball Championships

The Croatian nation handball team will face current European Champions Germany on the last day of the 25th IHF Men’s World Handball Championship being held in France. The winners will top Group C of the preliminary round and head into the finals stage with great confidence.

Croatia go into tomorrows exciting clash on the back of some impressive victories after defeating Saudi Arabia 28-23, Hungary 31-28 and yesterday overcoming a strong Chile team in a quite compelling match 37-22. The performance of goalkeeper Ivan Stevaovic ensured the Chileans goalscorers were kept at bay while Croatian marksman Lovro Mihic was on target on no fewer than eight occasions.

Germany v Croatia starts at 17:45 at the Kindarena, Rouen tomorrow – 20th January 2017.
