Ali Asghar comes from a family renowned for having several famous futsal players. He is a striker, and currently Captain of the Irani futsal club Tasisat Daryaei, as well as Captain of Iran national futsal team, ranked 6th in the World, and where he has a record of 120 goals in 151 appearances.
His club is the current Champion of Asia, and he has been crowned best Asian player of 2014, after being named AFC Futsal 2014 Championship best player and AFC Futsal Player of the Year 2014. In 2015, he has been nominated with other selected world class professionals for World best player of 2015.

1. Being the Captain of National Team. What are your main tasks as a leader?
I believe the main duty is to facilitate a good atmosphere between the Coach and the players inside the court, and try to help them execute what the coach has advised us to do. I also need to help the players mentally in critical and sensitive situations, to improve their performance. And pass on my knowledge, thanks to all the experiences achieved in last years, to the young players.
2. Where do you see the Iranian futsal in the upcoming years? Generally speaking and in terms of the National Team. When will we see Iran playing the final?
Reaching to World Cup final is very hard for any team, even big teams like Brazil and Spain do not see themselves in the final before beginning of the tournament. Reaching the world cup final needs hard practice and great focus. According to this points, I believe Iran national team needs to have more practice , especially in tactical phase, because I believe Iranian players are technically and individually at the very top level of the world.
3. Did you knew Joma before? What are the main characteristics that you perceived as a futsal professional?
Yes, I knew the brand from years before, especially I was familiar with the JOMA Futsal Shoes. The main need of a futsal player in match and tournaments is to have a comfortable and playable shoe, therefore for me the quality of Joma shoes was suitable. And one other good thing with the brand is, that it has become more popular in last few years, as is doing its exposure. Certainly if it keeps the current pace, it could become one of the best sporting goods Brand in the world in a short period of time.
4. Technically speaking, what kind of player are you? which is your preferred Joma shoe and why?
I am a tactical players who has dribbling and passing skills. According to my game characteristics in the field, I selected SUPER REGATE and TOPFLEX , because they are FLEXIBLE at the same time they are LIGHT and COMFORTABLE, which gives me a great smooth feeling during the game.
