What made the difference in Tuccitto’s victory?
On Sunday, April 19, Rimini hosted the Italian Marathon Championships, held within the framework of the Rimini Marathon 2026, one of the most important events on the national calendar.
The women’s title was claimed by Alessia Tuccitto, a new addition to the #JomaRunning Team, who crossed the finish line with an outstanding time of 2:36:16, delivering a strong and consistent performance in a highly demanding race.
Throughout the 42-kilometer course, Tuccitto maintained a steady pace that allowed her to stay among the leading runners and secure her position in the final stages, demonstrating control and experience in long-distance racing.
This race also marked her debut with the Joma RS-9000, with which she improved her previous personal best of 2:37:41, set last autumn in Verona, by more than one minute. A significant improvement that highlights both her progression and her excellent form at the start of the season.
This achievement not only represents her national title but also marks an important step forward in her career within the Joma Team, strengthening the brand’s presence in elite-level competition.
Congratulations, Alessia, and welcome to the #JomaTeam!
