Last weekend (Sun 13 March) the women’s volleyball team of Pays d’Aix Venelles achieved it’s greatest result in it’s history by winning the French Cup in Clermont-Ferrand.
The team defeated opponents, Beziers in the final during five highly competitive sets; 25-12, 17-25, 25-22, 22-25, 15-17.
The victory means Venelles will compete in the European Cup (CEV Cup) next season.
