Joma brings its players’ ideas to a new special edition of futsal shoes.
Every special-edition product begins with a meticulous development process and a conversation. From the first sketch, Joma follows a shared creative process with its futsal players, listening to their ideas and working closely with them to identify the element that will inspire each personalised edition.
This ongoing dialogue gives every design its own story. A meaningful colour, a graphic with context, a distinctive detail… Joma’s role is to interpret these ideas, translate them into the product and review each design with the player behind it, creating a shoe they can recognise as their own.
Players at the design table
The design brings the colours of the Brazilian flag into a distinctly urban composition. Blue, green and yellow are combined with a street art-inspired print.
An art lover, his design fuses Magritte’s surrealism with the Brazilian modernism of Tarsila do Amaral.
The geometric print on his shoe brings Vorticist inspiration into a contemporary sporting language, creating a dynamic graphic with a strong visual impact.
Established models with a new identity
The players’ special editions are built on Joma’s flagship futsal models. These shoes have years of competition behind them and are recognised by some of the world’s best players.
Joma retains the technical foundation that defines each model and focuses the changes on personalisation. The design is new, while the product preserves the characteristics that have made it a benchmark within the category.
