RUN ROME THE MARATHON
Acea Run Rome The Marathon is not just a running race, but a true journey through the heart of the Eternal City. Participating means running past iconic monuments and breathtaking scenery, turning every kilometer into a discovery and every step into an unforgettable memory.
Over the years, the race has formed prestigious partnerships (such as with the New York Marathon) and achieved IAAF Gold Label status, consolidating its reputation with record participation along the streets (up to 800,000 spectators and 80,000 runners).
The 42.195 km course is an open-air museum. The race starts at the evocative Fori Imperiali, with the majestic Colosseum in the background. From there, the route winds through the historic center, passing the city’s most iconic landmarks:
