Miguel Heras Hernández, JOMA trail running athlete

He was born in 1975 in the town of Béjar (Castilla y León) into a sporting family. Miguel has managed to become a true legend of Spanish and world trail running, both for his results and for his sporting values. His beginnings were in mountain sports such as hiking, climbing or cycling, as well as adventure raids, but it was in 2005 when he started in the world of trail running and during these 19 years he has achieved unequalled victories in practically all the important races on the planet such as Transgrancanaria, Transvulcania, Templiers or the mythical Ultra Pirineu. Miguel Heras is the new signing of the #JomaTrailTeam and we are convinced that, with his experience, his closeness and his enthusiasm, he will continue to bring us great joys. 

His UTMB Index is 910 points and among his most notable performances during these 19 tireless years stand out:
