Portuguese Olympic Committee
The Portuguese Olympic Committee (COP) is the most authoritative body in Portuguese sport. It was founded in 1909 and is responsible for organising sport for the Olympic Games. This Committee has optimised the preparation of its athletes and teams in order to obtain the best possible outcomes in the coming Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. To do this, it has improved the sports facilities where its professional athletes train. At the end of 2015, Joma and COP signed an agreement whereby the Spanish sports brand becomes responsible for dressing Portuguese athletes from the moment the agreement was signed up to the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020.
