Choose your trainers to run the MOVISTAR MADRID HALF MARATHON according to your pace

Here at Joma, we have carried out a dual revamp of the MOVISTAR MADRID HALF MARATHON. Now, you will be able to choose between two of our star running models according to your running pace: the Supercross trainer if you run at more than 4 minutes/km, and the flying R.4000 if you are a fast runner (less than 4 minutes/km).

For the design of both models, we have taken inspiration from the diversity of the capital city. The characteristic blue accompanies a personalised “MADRID” print consisting of different characters that convey the multicultural nature of the city.

The Supercross is prepared to give runners the boost they need with a more gentle pace. This type of athlete tends to heel more, hence they have a 10mm DROP and have the FULL DUAL PULSOR technology in the midsole. It is a double density system consisting of the revolutionary REACTIVE BALL on the bottom which provides the required reactivity.

By contrast, the flying R-4000 trainer is ideal for fast runners, who run at a fast pace. They look like their foot doesn’t even touch the floor. For that reason, they need a lighter weight trainer, with reinforced tip to increase the durability in the area that comes into most contact with the tarmac. The FLY REACTIVE of the midsole is a lighter weight material, more suitable for this speed. Approved by World Athletics.

United by breathability and lightness

The upper is manufactured in a lightweight and flexible fabric, along with the VTS ventilation technology. This is made up of small perforations that enable the entry and exit of air, ensuring that the temperature of the foot remains constant. The seam-free JOMA SPORTECH system inserted into the upper provides optimal fit and hold without adding any extra weight.

The DURABILITY technology, made of high-density rubber, is applied to the sole to slow down the wear caused by abrasion from using running shoes on tarmac. The distribution of DURABILITY rubber is developed so that it is only placed on the areas of highest contact. This enables the weight of the trainer to be reduced and facilitates the energy return provided by the lower part of the midsole.
