ATLETICA FIRENZE MARATHON
Atletica Firenze Marathon, founded in 1968, is one of the top 10 athletics clubs in Italy; both teams (men's and women's) are constantly competing in the Finale Oro, where the best 12 teams at national level play for the Scudetto. For more than 50 years, its sports school has been promoting athletics among young people (more than 1,200 each year), and thanks to the management of one of the most impressive sports facilities entirely dedicated to athletics, the 'Luigi Ridolfi' stadium in Florence, it succeeds each year in cultivating and developing high-level athletes, taking them to the top of the national rankings and to wear the blue jersey in major international competitions.
At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, two of the club's athletes have reached the minimum participation level.
