The second Davis Cup Final kicks off with Joma as Official Technical Supplier

Joma strengthens its role in the Davis Cup 2024 with technical equipment and a significant presence at this stage

Davis Cup began in 1900 as a challenge match between USA and Great Britain and has evolved since then to become the world’s largest annual international team competition in sport, with a record 157 nations entered in 2024. Italy won their second Davis Cup title in 2023, with Jannik Sinner inspiring the team to victories over Netherlands, Serbia and Australia at the Final 8 in Malaga. The 2024 Davis Cup Finals Group Stage takes place on 10-15 September across four cities (Bologna, Manchester, Valencia and Zhuhai), with 16 nations competing in four groups of four nations. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Final 8, hosted in Malaga for the third consecutive year, on 19-24 November 2024.

Once again, the Spanish brand has teamed up with the Davis Cup to dress the team of ball boys and line judges. This fact underlines the importance of Joma in the international tennis scene and reinforces its presence in high-level sporting events. By dressing those who play a crucial role in the development of the matches, it not only ensures that the technical team wears clothing that allows them to achieve maximum precision, but also associates their image with the professionalism and prestige of the Davis Cup. This collaboration strengthens its commitment to sport and its support for all the people who contribute to the success of these tournaments.

This year, Joma will also be present in the competition through three national federations: Spain, Italy and Slovakia, which will wear the brand during this phase. In addition, several well-known #JomaPlayers, such as Pablo Carreño, Pedro Martínez-Portero, Marcel Granollers, Tomas Machac and Tiago Monteiro, will participate in the Cup, further underlining the brand’s relevance in world tennis.

Fashion and technology merge in exclusive collection for the technical team

For this occasion, a special collection has been created, blending the latest sports fashion trends with Joma’s renowned quality and technology. The line for the Davis Cup includes shirts, polos, pants, sweatshirts, socks, and caps. Notably, the ball boys and line judges’ tops are made from high-performance, lightweight, breathable technical fabric, featuring ultra-comfortable seams and colorful print details.

Davis Cup is lived on a daily basis with a creative campaign reflecting precision and speed

To promote this collaboration, Joma has launched a dynamic campaign that brings the Davis Cup into everyday scenarios. The campaign shows how ball boys and line judges face the speed and precision required in daily life, simulating a professional tennis match.

This is a testament to the strength of the Spanish brand, which will be a major highlight on the global stage of the Davis Cup.
