Double gold in race walking after Miguel Ángel López and Antía Chamosa were proclaimed champions of Spain in the 35-kilometer race this Sunday.
Last Sunday, the athletes Joma Miguel Ángel López and Antía Chamosa added a new milestone to their career by being crowned champions of Spain in the 35-kilometer race. Both shone with Joma at the Spanish Road Walking Championship held in Marín, Pontevedra.
Miguel Ángel López completed the race in 2 hours, 27 minutes, and 55 seconds, achieving the minimum required by the RFEA to qualify for the Podebrady European Cup with a wide margin.
On the other hand, Antía Chamosa, also part of the #JomaTeam, won in the women’s category with a time of 2 hours, 44 minutes, and 50 seconds, which also meets the criteria for being selected for the European Cup. This victory has established her as one of the best young race walkers in Spain and Europe.
Likewise, Raquel González has added the third medal for the #JomaTeam in the championship, in this case, a bronze, with a time of 2 hours, 47 minutes, and 35 seconds.
At Joma, we are deeply proud of the performance of our athletes, who compete at the highest level with our technical equipment, demonstrating their commitment and excellence in every competition.
