Runner’s World, the respected Spanish running magazine, hosted the inaugural EDP Awards on 8th June in Madrid. More than 300 guests from all sectors of the athletics and running community attended the ceremony, including representatives from the media, technical equipment brands, race organisers and athletes.
The gala featured 15 categories with the highlight of the evening being reserved for the president and founder of Joma Sport, Fructuoso López who was awarded the Pioneer of Running prize; a recognition of his life times work and professional career in influencing athletics for more than 50 years.
