Pablo Carreño-Busta crowned champion of Estoril Open

Spanish tennis player, Pablo Carreño-Busta began the Estoril Open as number one seed and fulfilled his status as tournament favourite by lifting the Millennium Estoril Open 2017 champion title.

It was the 25-year-old Joma player’s first success of the season and was achieved on his favoured clay surface. The title is Carreño’s third individual career triumph after two wins in 2016 at the Winston-Salem and Moscow tournaments.

The 2017 season is proving to be one of Carreño’s most important, returning to the ATP Tour ranking’s top 20, climbing three positions to number 18 in the world.

This week, Carreño will compete in the Masters of Madrid along with other players sponsored by Joma such as Albert Ramos, Marcel Granollers, Thiago Monteiro and Nicolás Almagro.
