Joma surpasses itself again at the European Indoor Athletics Championships and accumulates 18 medals

The European Athletics Championships has come to an end with a strong medal tally and two federations in the final Top 10.

What has been experienced these days in Apeldoorn has been a display of power and passion on the track. The Spanish brand has once again made its mark on European athletics. In addition to having debuted as a sponsor of the event thanks to its partnership with European Athletics, its equipped teams have conquered the European Indoor Athletics Championships with an impressive result of 18 medals: five golds, six silvers, and seven bronzes.

Italy and Spain, in the Top 10 of the medal table

Italian athletes have shone in Apeldoorn and have won no less than three golds, one silver, and two bronzes, which has led them to position themselves in an impeccable second place in the final medal table. And with nine more finalists in different events, Italy has made it clear that they are in the elite of continental athletics. This is the best position that Italy has achieved in the 38 editions of the European Indoor Championships they have competed in.

Meanwhile, the Spanish delegation of the RFEA has also performed well with one gold medal, one silver, and two bronzes, in addition to 13 finalists who came close to glory. Romania, Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Serbia, rising powers

The Romanians have won a gold and a silver, while the Czechs have shone with a silver and two bronzes, as well as placing eight finalists in different events. Two countries that are making a strong impact and promise to put up a fight in the upcoming championships.

Slovenia has also made its presence felt in the championship with a silver and a bronze. On the other hand, Serbia closed the Joma medal table with a silver in the women’s high jump.

Likewise, the delegations dressed by Joma bid farewell to the European Indoor Athletics Championships by occupying 35 finalist positions.
