From 21 June to 2 July, the European Games are being held, in which Joma is dressing the Olympic Committees of Spain, Portugal, North Macedonia, Armenia, Moldova and Malta, among others, and numerous national federations.
The 2023 European Games in Krakow, Poland from 21 June to 2 July brought together 48 countries to compete in 29 disciplines. A multi-sport event in which more than six Joma-clad Olympic committees participated: Spain, Portugal, North Macedonia, Armenia, Moldova and Malta, among others. All of them are wearing the collections that Joma has made especially for them, reflecting the identity of each country.
During this competition, direct qualification places for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will be distributed in 10 Olympic sports. This is a golden opportunity to gain a ‘direct entry to the next Games. Other disciplines that are not part of the Paris 2024 Olympic programme, such as Karate, Kickboxing or Padel, where Joma plays a leading role, also found a place.
It is worth noting the close first place between Spain and Italy in the medal table. Spain has 18 gold, 11 silver and 11 bronze medals, while Italy currently has another 18 gold, 17 silver and 23 bronze medals.
Joma’s big presence at the European Games 2023
Joma also has a large presence in national federations. For example, in athletics it dresses 15 national teams, becoming the most visible brand within this discipline. These include two of the most powerful in the competition: Spain and Italy. The latter has just proclaimed itself European champion, while Spanish athletics achieved a historic fourth place finish. In other disciplines, the Real Federación Española de Tenis de Mesa (Spanish table tennis federation), the 15-a-side rugby federation of Spain and the FITP are also among the teams participating in the #JomaTeam.
