Joma puts high-end footwear on Olympians

Joma’s commitment to the Spanish Olympians is to make a collection of the highest possible quality so that they feel comfortable during the Games. This includes not only the three clothing lines (award, village and parade) but also the footwear they will wear on each occasion, for which Joma has designed two special editions of its high-end running shoes.

Every time a Spaniard steps onto the podium, he or she will do so with a SUPERCROSS model shoe, designed for Spanish athletes and which the Olympians will share with the Spanish Team of Athletes Anonymous, which was born from training at home during the 2020 confinement. Joma wanted the latter to also be represented at the top of the sport.

For their stay in the Olympic Village Joma has designed a special version of the most cushioned Joma shoe: STORM VIPER.  It is a design in red and navy blue in which the word SPAIN stands out and which incorporates the latest technology in running shoes such as the REACTIVEBALL system, which provides maximum reactivity and cushioning; STABILIS, a system of stabilization of the footstep or JOMA SPORTECH in the stitching so that the shoe fits perfectly to the foot. In a nut-shell, Joma wanted athletes to feel as comfortable as possible.

Lastly, Joma completes the look of the inaugural ceremony with the casual model C.800, a leather sneaker, with a classic style reminiscent of the first running shoes designed by Joma in the 70s. It is a white sneaker, currently with the fashion, combined with the red and yellow colors in the Joma logo and incorporating the COE shield. The sole is made of phylon with excellent cushioning characterized for its comfort.
