The World Indoor Athletics Championships, held in Nanjing (China) last weekend, closed a successful medal tally for the #JomaTeam. The brand had a great representation in the first major international championship after the Paris Olympics.
After an exciting weekend full of achievements and unforgettable moments for athletics lovers, China hosted the first major sports event after the 2024 Olympics. In this highly demanding scenario, the #JomaTeam has achieved a remarkable medal haul.
There, more than 500 athletes from 120 nationalities have been fighting to get on the podium. Finally, 3 federations equipped by Joma have succeeded, gathering a total of 7 medals in the XIX edition of the World Indoor Athletics Championships: 2 golds, 2 silvers, and 3 bronzes.
Italy, one of the most outstanding, in the Top 5 of the medal table
The Italian delegation has been one of the main protagonists in Nanjing, achieving two gold medals and one silver. Their victories came in men’s triple jump and men’s long jump, ensuring Italy a place in the Top 5 of the final medal table.
Great performance by Spain and Slovenia
The Spanish delegation of the RFEA has won 3 medals, in addition to four finalists who came close to glory. Spain shone in women’s triple jump, women’s long jump, and men’s 800 meters, consolidating its growth in international athletics.
Meanwhile, Slovenia has managed to win a silver medal in women’s pole vault, completing the podium for Joma and becoming one of the countries making a strong impact.
Likewise, the delegations outfitted by Joma bid farewell to the Indoor Athletics World Championships by occupying more than 15 finalist positions.
