Joma and the forbidden food stand

One of the themes for the Madrid Movistar Half Marathon Joma wanted to share is that after the long road involving all the effort and dedication of the training process, only running the race remains. Those efforts include diet, since healthy eating and eliminating certain foods and beverages, as promoted by Joma, is part of any training program.

Therefore, at the finishing line, Joma installed a stand where the runners could eat that meal they were longing for but had denied themselves during training. In the tent, they could taste dishes such as: patatas bravas, sausages, nachos, potato omelette and brownies, among other things, and wash them down with a beer or a soft drink, following the theme that after all their effort, there was only the half-marathon left to run followed by an enjoyable meal.

Joma launched a social network initiative asking followers to use comments to tell us about the foods that they had stopped eating while training and thus win the opportunity to join us at the stand and share the end of the party with Joma.

We are grateful for the positive reception this initiative received, both in person and in the competition held over the social networks, allowing some of our followers to join us after the race at the stand.
