Joma’s 2026 running calendar will take the brand to some of the most iconic cities and races on the international stage, with presence across Europe and Africa. Throughout the year, Joma will accompany thousands of runners at events that form part of the global athletics calendar.
First half of 2026: International presence across two continents
Marrakech International Marathon – January 25
The season will begin in Marrakech with a 42.195-kilometre marathon that brings together more than 10,000 runners from different countries each year. Its course combines urban areas, palm groves and the characteristic landscape of southern Morocco, making it one of the standout early-season races and one of the most recognised events in North Africa.
ACEA Run Rome The Marathon – March 22
Running in Rome means running through history. The ACEA Run Rome The Marathon, over the classic 42.195 km distance, is renowned for offering one of the most monumental routes on the European circuit, passing iconic landmarks such as the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.
Movistar Madrid Half Marathon – March 22
On the same day, Joma will also be present at the Movistar Madrid Half Marathon, a 21.097-kilometre race that has become one of the benchmarks of the Spanish running calendar. With more than 20,000 participants, its urban course runs through some of the most emblematic areas of the capital.
Two Oceans Marathon – April 11–12
Held in Cape Town, the Two Oceans Marathon is one of the most prestigious races on the international calendar, known for its toughness and spectacular natural setting. In its most recent edition, Kenyan athlete Mercy Kibor, part of the #JomaTeam, claimed victory in her half marathon debut, clocking a time of 1:17:06 while competing in the R-5000 running shoes.
Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon – April 18
The Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon offers a multi-distance format and has established itself as one of the leading sports tourism events in the Mediterranean. Its course connects different parts of the island, combining sport, nature and an international atmosphere.
Second half of 2026: Consolidation and growth on Europe’s major stages
20K de Paris – October 11
The autumn calendar will begin in Paris with the 20K de Paris, a distinctive race both for its distance and its festive atmosphere. With more than 45 editions held, the course runs through the heart of the French capital, with the Eiffel Tower as one of its most iconic landmarks, accompanied by music and entertainment along the route.
Venice Marathon – October 25
Run over the classic 42.195 kilometres, the Venice Marathon is one of the most unique marathons in the world. Its course crosses bridges, canals and historic areas of Venice, offering an unforgettable experience to the more than 15,000 runners who take part each year.
Toulouse Métropole Run Experience – late October
This event has established itself in recent years as a growing fixture on the French running calendar. Featuring a fast, urban marathon course, it attracts both recreational runners and those looking to achieve personal bests.
Behobia–San Sebastián – November 8
With its 20-kilometre course, the Behobia–San Sebastián is one of the most popular races in Europe. Each edition brings together around 30,000 runners, and its atmosphere, continuous crowd support and rich history make it a must on the running calendar.
Maratona do Porto – November 8
Run over 42.195 kilometres, the Maratona do Porto stands out for its route along the Atlantic Ocean, combining urban and coastal sections. It is a race with growing international appeal, highly valued by runners for its setting and atmosphere.
Nocturna de Toledo – November 15
The Nocturna de Toledo offers a different kind of experience: running at night through a historic city illuminated after dark, in a unique heritage setting. It is also a particularly meaningful race for Joma, as the brand originated in Portillo de Toledo, strengthening the emotional and territorial connection with this event.
Firenze Marathon – November 29
Joma’s 2026 calendar will conclude with the Firenze Marathon, one of the most prestigious marathons in Italy and Europe. Its fast course and route through Florence’s historic city centre make it a highly valued race for both recreational runners and elite athletes.
