Historic record: Inés Astrain signs the best women’s mark of the MiM with Joma’s help

Inés Astráin has a historic performance in the MiM Penyagolosa Trails 2025 by asserting herself in the women’s category and breaking the record of the race with a time of 6:07:46, improving by over two minutes the previous mark that had been held since 2017. The athlete from the #JomaTrailTeam starred in an impeccable race, leading solo from the first kilometers and showing a spectacular form.

Equipped with the Joma TR8, trail shoes designed to offer maximum grip, stability, and performance, and dressed in the technical gear of the Spanish sports brand for high mountain, Astrain knew how to make the most of her preparation and technical gear during the demanding 60 kilometers and 3,300 meters of positive elevation of the route. The cool weather conditions favored a high pace, and although the effort was felt in the toughest sections —especially between kilometers 40 and 50—, Inés maintained control until crossing the finish line, establishing herself as one of the great references of national trail running.
