The combined team of European athletes have won the Bupa Great Edinburgh Cross after getting 154 points, less than the UK team, second with 175 and third was the USA with 201. Lamdassem second. The Spaniard Ayad Lamdassem came second in the senior mens 8km race with a time of 24:28 minutes, a second behind the winner, the US captain Bobby Mack. In third place was Andy Vermont with a time of 24:29 minutes.
