Albert Ramos runner-up in Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters

Spanish tennis player, Albert Ramos-Vinolas has had the most successful week of his career as he reached his very first Masters final to face world number five Rafael Nadal at Monte-Carlo. The Joma sponsored player beat world number one, Andy Murray, on his way to the final and has also climbed five places in the ATP Tour ranking, breaking into the top 20.

Talking about his defeat to Nadal in straight sets (6-1, 6-3), Ramos-Vinolas admitted to suffering fatigue, “I was a bit tired after playing three straight sets. Although Rafael did not play his best tennis, he was still at a very high level.”

The next venue for Ramos-Vinolas will be in the Banc Sabadell-Trofeo Conde de Godó in Barcelona from 24 to 30 April where Joma will be one of the main sponsors. All players and judges in the tournament will wear the iconic Spanish sports brand and several Joma sponsored players will be on court including Pablo Carreño, Nicolás Almagro, Marcel Granollers and Thiago Monteiro.
