Joma athletes have competed at the highest level, achieving podium finishes and standout performances while wearing Joma’s ultralight technical Marathon II shirt.
The Joma trail team delivered a strong weekend of competition at Val d’Aran, one of the toughest and most prestigious races on the international trail running circuit. In a high‑mountain setting with technical terrain, steep climbs, and changing conditions, Joma runners posted impressive results across multiple distances, reinforcing the team’s momentum.
Joma Elite Trail Team results at Val d’Aran
At the 110 km ultra distance, Abel Carretero once again demonstrated his experience and endurance by crossing the finish line in 4th place.
At 52 km, Joma’s participation was especially solid, achieving a double presence on the men’s podium:
- Leonard Mitrica (05:00:16) secured 2nd place after a fast and well-managed race.
- Pablo Bautista (05:05:19) completed the podium with an excellent 3rd place. In the 32 km race, Pablo already accumulates wins from 2023 and 2024.
In the same distance, within the women’s category, Ikram Rharsalla (05:47:02) took 3rd place, closing another great performance for the team. Meanwhile, Inés Astrain finished in 8th place, showing strength throughout the course.
Finally, in the 15 k, Andrés Jiménez signed a remarkable 7th position, while Mónica Vega came close to the Top 10 with an 11th place, completing a very competitive performance from both.
Textile technology in service of trail performance
A key element behind the Joma team’s results was the Marathon II shirt, worn by all athletes at this year’s Val d’Aran. Its extreme lightness and enhanced breathability—developed in the Joma Lab—make it the perfect technical garment to tackle every race:
- Ultralight technical fabric: just 55 g in sleeveless version and 73 g in short‑sleeve size M.
- High breathability thanks to MICRO‑MESH SYSTEM technology.
- Ergonomic cut for optimal mobility.
- Comfort seams that prevent chafing.
